Alia Bhatt’s Diwali look was highly anticipated by her fans, as they eagerly waited to see what outfit the Highway actress dons for the special occasion. Alia managed to look stunning in a beautiful rose pink lehenga that she wore for Diwali. This lehenga was quite a special one, and took 4 months to make!
Not just Diwali, Children’s Day was also being celebrated yesterday. Clubbing the theme for both the occasions, Alia Bhatt’s beautiful lehenga featured drawings by children, and it was made from a 100 percent waste organic fabric. The actress, in her post, called the lehenga a ‘labour of love’ and her stylist Ami Patel revealed that it took 13 karigars, 35 children, 4 months to make this gorgeous outfit.
Alia Bhatt shared pictures of her in the pink lehenga, and speaking about how special it was, Alia wrote, “This Diwali I wanted to do something different, instead I wore something different This lehenga is a labour of love of so many amazing people - the children of AOL free schools whose names are embroidered on it and karigars who worked across many months.Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali and hope everyone’s in the pink of health, just like my outfit.”Take a look:
